LED-A stands for ‘Levenshtein Edit Distance App.’ It is a web app for calculating and visualizing linguistic distances among dialect varieties using the Relative Identity Distance, Levenshtein distance, Dynamic Time Warping, and the POS-tag n-gram frequency method. The following people were involved in the development of LED-A: Wilbert Heeringa (implementation), Vincent van Heuven† (advice), Hans Van de Velde (project manager). LED-A is still under development.
